Asteria strengthens its Private Debt team


To further its development and to serve its investors, Asteria appointed two new Senior Private Debt Investment Managers, Pierre Husser and Sarunas Kubilickas. Asteria will soon launch its first Private Debt fund allowing clients to invest in financial inclusion, sustainable farming, green and social infrastructure. Asteria’s team will be completed by a new Head of Legal and Compliance, Dajana Turuljija.


Asteria, launched in October 2019 by the REYL Group and Katia Coudray, CEO, is an independent asset manager dedicated to social and environmental impact investing. Its team of experienced professionals offers institutional investors exposure to a wide range of asset classes focused on impact and performance generation. Asteria has developed an integrated proprietary impact, ESG and fundamental research tool supported by an innovative big data technology platform.


Asteria’s Private Debt Team grows with the arrival of two experienced Senior Investment Managers, Sarunas Kubilickas and Pierre Husser. They join Fabio Sofia, Head of Private Debt, and add extensive experience in the fields of developing finance, renewable and infrastructure.


Sarunas Kubilickas has more than 14 years’ experience in the financial sector in private equity, venture capital, M&A, corporate finance, business development, and C-suite positions. Prior to joining Asteria, Sarunas worked at Triodos Investment Management, a Private Equity firm in the Netherlands as Senior Investment Manager and Member of Investment Committee for Central and Eastern Europe and Asia. His professional experience also includes nine years at Société Générale in Paris as Investment Manager for Corporate M&A and Private Equity transactions.


Pierre Husser has 11 years of banking and asset management experience in London focusing on private and public debt investments in renewable energy and infrastructure. Prior to joining Asteria as Investment Manager, he was for five years a member of the M&G Investments Project and Infrastructure Finance team. Pierre also worked five years at Nord/LB within the Structured Finance Infrastructure EMEA team. Pierre began his career in Project finance at Crédit Agricole CIB.
