Mr. Markar Gasparov of URARTU AERO was elected the best Russian-speaking entrepreneur 2021. The company was founded by a graduate of Samara Aerospace University in 2006. His diploma and thesis in automation and aircraft engine units, as well as the university and enterprises of all branches of the aerospace industry, historically concentrated in the city, shaped the initial profile of the company.

Initially with the automation of test equipment, we gradually moved to the production of test benches with a capacity of several megawatts. The uniqueness of the test equipment forced the company to build up its capacity by developing the design bureau and increasing its competence in all areas. Specialists with experience in aircraft engine development joined the company.

Connections with universities and RF Armenian companies led to the creation of a local team, whose main areas of work were the combination of control systems and modelling. Cooperation with European partnerssince 2016 has led to the opening of the head office in Switzerland in 2019. Today, the company has a head office in Switzerland, with an engineering staff of 50 people and offices located in Russia, Armenia and India.
